Copyright Policy

Poeta respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. Users retain copyright ownership of their original content posted on our platform.

DMCA Takedown Procedure

If you believe that content on Poeta infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to us. Your notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (with URL or location)
  • Your contact information (address, phone number, email)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Send your DMCA takedown notice to: poeta@maclin.io

Please include "DMCA Takedown Request" in the subject line.

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error
  • Your name, address, and phone number
  • A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

Repeat Infringer Policy

Poeta will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.

Fair Use

We recognize that fair use, parody, and other exceptions to copyright law exist. We will consider these factors when reviewing DMCA notices.

Protecting Your Work

As a creator on Poeta:

  • You retain full copyright to your original work
  • You grant Poeta a license to display your work on our platform
  • You can delete your work at any time
  • You should not post work that infringes on others' copyrights
